MASJID SRI SENDAYAN (Architecture)

It'll be easy to understand why it's been generating a lot of buzz - the imposing white mosque has stunning architectural elements that has quickly earned it a nickname of being the Taj Mahal of Malaysia, given its similarities to the iconic building, Masjid Sri Sendayan.

The mosque, located about 15km from Seremban and 70km from the federal capital, was endowed by the founder of RHB Group, Tan Sri Abd Rashid Hussain.

The main attraction of Masjid Sri Sendayan, which cost more than RM100mil, is its architecture and the materials used in its construction.

Some materials were flown in from Egypt, Turkiye, Dubai, Morocco and China.

It can accommodate up to 5,000 people at a time and also has lecture halls, a library, multipurpose halls, mortuary management rooms and administrative buildings.
